Home to many village events throughout the year including the Toddlers' Group, Youth Club, Indoor Bowls and Scottish Country Dancing to name but a few, the Crook of Devon Institute website has details of all them all as well as a bit of historical info about the hall and contact details for arranging bookings.

Planning Public Access Page, which allows you to view planning applications online. You can click on Application Weekly List to view recent applications, or if you know the reference number you are interested in, simply go to the Application Search and type in the relevant reference number.

Another useful page is the Development Planning page where you can use the links in the left hand column to view information about the Current Development Plan or the New Development Plan.

The site can tell you who your MP is, what they have said in Parliament, how they have voted and on various issues and many other interesting things. It is even possible to receive an email whenever an MP speaks in Parliament or when a particular topic is mentioned. Highly recommended.

The Straight Choice

TheStraightChoice.com is another useful site, where you can upload photos of election leaflets that come through your door and view leaflets uploaded by others. It's extremely easy to find your way around and allows you to check how the different parties vary their message across different constituencies. You can of course also find out about your local candidates if you didn't get one of their leaflets.

Now very much geared towards the election campaign, GordonBanks.info presents news stories in which Mr Banks is featured along with contact details and information about his expenses.
