Fossoway Community Strategy Group met on 12 August 2009 to appraise the outcome of the consultation undertaken with Fossoway residents. The group carefully considered all the responses to the questionnaire and has now made recommendations that identify areas of land within Fossoway that may be developed without adversely impacting the landscape. The areas identified are acceptable only in terms of landscape capacity for development and there remains much work to be done on local infrastructure matters. Maps showing the areas that are suitable for development in terms of landscape capacity have been published and can be viewed on the Strategy Group page.
The questionnaire was delivered to 570 househoulds and 115 responses were received. This equates to a 20% response rate, which is very good for consultations of this type.
