New Bridge for Crook of Devon

Construction work has started on a new footbridge over the River Devon and a new path to the Back Crook. This will complete the 6.5 mile circular walk round Crook of Devon, Drum and Rumbling Bridge. WALC has spent the last seven years negotiating with landowners and, with the generous help of the Community, fundraising to make the Fossoway School Millennium Walk a reality. We are almost there. Most of the money has been raised but we still need some more so further fundraising events are needed. If you have any fundraising ideas, please contact Bronwen Wheatley on 01577 840 212.
